AGV - Automated Guided Vehicles
An AGV is essentially a portable robot that moves along lines or wires marked on the ground and can also use radio waves, vision cameras, magnets, and lasers to guide its movement. The equipment is controlled by a dedicated software system and is battery-powered.
This type of automated vehicle transports everything from small to large loads and can work in conjunction with the warehouse management system, which transmits movement signals so the AGV can move materials.
