AMRs - Autonomous Mobile Robots

AMRs, or Autonomous Mobile Robots, are 100% autonomous mobile robots. They don't require a specific route to operate. They are equipped with advanced technology and can self-locate, allowing them to determine the best route to complete their tasks. These robots only need sensors and scanners to move within the factory environment. When processes change, AMRs can easily adapt, creating new route networks. They are easily integrated with ERP software, robotic cells, and existing transportation systems.

The AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) is a high-tech device designed to transport loads or simply pull a cart. Therefore, this system not only increases work efficiency but also reduces operating costs.

The AMR transports materials autonomously, with environment mapping and dynamic path planning. The AMR avoids obstacles on the way to its destination and communicates with other systems in compliance with Industry 4.0.

Without complex programming, you can complete the task with the help of a complete superior system. The open interface can be applied in different scenarios to adapt to the changing needs of different production lines and units, as well as process requirements.

AMRs use free navigation using lasers, while the others are located with fixed elements:

    Magnetic tapes;

  • Magnets;

  • Beacons;

  • Etc.

This means that in warehouses and other locations where the work environment is shared with humans, AMRs perform better due to their dynamism and efficiency in task sharing. Furthermore, autonomous mobile robots have much more advanced software and hardware, enabling more efficient applications.

AMRs are easy to assemble and operate, requiring no construction, such as magnet installation, or minimal programming. Furthermore, the software integrates with other systems, allowing the solution to be up and running in minimal time.

Features:

    No Construction Required;

  • Easy integration with MES, ERP and WMS;

  • Enhanced security to meet IT systems;

  • Autonomous navigation does not require predefined routes, magnets or signals;

  • Automatic software updates across the fleet, keeping workflow continuous.

Autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) make material handling processes safe and streamlined. These models can carry payloads of up to 1,500 kg, suitable for use in a variety of applications.

You define the starting and ending points, and the robot, using the plant maps generated in its software, plots the best route for that moment.
