The supervisory system aims to facilitate both application development and user interaction with the control plant. It consists of process monitoring tools, collects information from data acquisition equipment present in the data network (such as temperature sensors), analyzes it, manipulates it, stores it, and presents it to the user in a real-time graphical interface.
